I was using my previous foundation for about 6 years. I loved it and it was great for my oily skin when I was a few years younger, however, now I am approaching 40, I tried a sample of this from a magazine and was converted right away. Not only does it give a fab youthful glow, it does not make your skin look oily at all, and it stays PUT, not sliding off at all, even with my greasy skin. It glides on, especially with an application of Estee Lauder Pore Minimiser underneath, and dries to a long lasting, dewy glow. LOVE IT and it's now my new favourite. product. Gives great coverage but also looks light and natural.

I love this product ! I've struggled for 20+ years to find a product that is the right shade for my very fair skin. Intensity 1.0 is perfect for me. Great coverage and just right amount of slip for easy application - not as drying as other long-wear foundations from other brands I've tried. Gives the right amount of coverage for me while letting skin show through. Have not had to touch up make-up all day and no signs of creasing around eye area. Brilliant.

I am on my feet all day, in hot and stuffy wards. This foundation is excellent as it does what it says ..... lasts 15 hours without sliding off your face. I have oily skin so have searched high and low for a foundation which I like and stays in place ..... This is the one. Would recommend this foundation to anyone ... Will Definitely buy this again. In usually use the normal double wear in fresco when i go out on the town, but I use double wear light in intensity 1.0 for everyday use.Hope this was helpful

My Mum uses this foundation and has been for many years and when I ran out of mine, she gave me the remainder of her estee lauder double wear light. Although this product is expensive for a teenager like me, I think that it is undoubtedly worth the money. I have had a lot of trouble and upset due to spots for a few years and since having used this foundation my skin has cleared up really well. Since this is stay in place makeup I do not have to re-apply during the day and it really does do what it says, stays in place for hours. Brilliant product! I would definately recommend.

I'm never going to try other brands again. Double Wear - Foundation, Light and the Compact are the best.I tried this at an EL counterand didn't think it would have enough coverage for my 40+ skin. But it is simply fabulous. Feels wonderfully light on the skin, doesn't accentuate creases and stays put throughout the day.For a longer lasting matt effect dab the compact where needed or use the compact to cover if going straight out from work. Marvellous...

I originally went to buy the doublewear foundation (not the light version) but when the lady at the Estee Lauder counter realised I was going to be wearing it all day every day, she suggested the light version instead. She explained that I could use it 'lightly' and build it up as required. She made me up and I have never looked so flawless. I have to admit feeling a little dubious when taking the product home with me that I would be able to achieve the same flawless look. But with the help of a foundation brush my skin has never looked better...

I have been using double wear foundation for over ten years now and find it has excellent coverage. I saw this light version advertised and thought I would give it a try, having read the reviews, some of which saying it gives a dewy finish. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me as I found my skin looked 'chalkie' with a very matt finish and I felt it did not suit my skin (which is oily) at all. I will stick to the original double wear in future. I would suggest trying a sample before buying it which, unfortunately, I didn't do.

I recently tried this foundation after my friend who is a beauty therapist and makeup artist recommended it. I absolutely love this product! After years of trying to find a foundation that does it all, this really is the best I’ve ever used. It creates flawless skin which still looks natural in harsh lights, and is so easy to apply and only a small amount is needed to build up coverage. My skin is oily and can get a little shiny throughout the day, but this foundation stays put. This is the first review I have ever written about a product, but I was so impressed with the results that had to give it a big thumbs up!

It doesn't come in a light enough shade for pale skins unless you like an orangey effect. I found this too heavy for me. If you have good skin and want something quite sheer, this is too thick in texture. Im a big fan of estee lauder but they just dont cater for pale skin anymore with their foundations. I want to look as if I have barely any makeup on but better than I would without it! Sadly this doesn't do it for me.

This is a nice foundation, and does give a good coverage which lasts all day, however i still feel it is a little heavy and after about a month it seems to go darker and more of an orange shade even though i use intensity 1.0 :s.I would recommend this to a friend to try as this is just my opinion and compared to other foundations i have tried of the same price range it is the best.

Photographs well compared to the normal Double Wear, but because it is light it gives less coverage and doesn't stay on as long (or tends to need a powder to keep it in place). This is my summertime foundation, as I find that it doesn't come in a shade light enough for my pale winter skin. I love it though and would recommend it :)

Tinted moisturisers just don't give me the coverage I need (I have melasma) but I prefer a foundation that is weightless. Double Wear Light fits the bill perfectly. I have used this foundation for years, mixing Shades 01 and 02 together in summer and wearing Shade 01 alone in winter. For such a lightweight foundation it is amazing that it lasts all day and it doesn't dry out my already dehydrated skin. It is easily buildable to take you into the evening, and I have recommended it to friends who have complimented me on my make-up.

It is very thick and only a small amount is required but basically it does what says on the packet. I used to use double wear which gave superb coverage but I always felt like I was 'wearing foundation' as it felt quite heavy so I was thrilled when I discovered double wear light. This foundation gives a very similar coverage without feeling too thick . The only criticism I'd have is that I'd love 'in between' shades...such as 2.5....as 2.0 can be too light and 3.0 too dark.

I have been using this foundation ever since it was launched after using the original double wear for years. I like the fact that the coverage is every bit as good with this as the double wear, but not as heavy. I have very uneven skin tone and this covers great, and I find it lasts all day. But PLEASE, PLEASE Estee Lauder can we have some more shades, I generally find the 2.0 too light, and the 3.0 too dark. I just think a shade inbetween would be perfect.

This foundation comes in a lightweight squeezy container, which is amazing for portability plus I find it less messy and wasteful than standard foundations.The foundation itself is creamy and not runny at all, but it spreads very evenly onto the face. It applies fabulously with a brush but I prefer to use fingers, as I feel this warms up the foundation a bit to help it blend. I blend out from the middle and it gives a glowy look at first but dries down to a natural, semi-matte finish.The coverage is amazing, it covers blemishes and redness so well - I'd say it covers just as well as the normal Double Wear, but with a different (less matte) finish. Because it's less matte, I find it more flattering on the slightly uneven texture of my skin. It gives an illusion of lovely smooth skin, but doesn't look like you're wearing heavy foundation.This is the best foundation I've found for combination skin, as it doesn't dry out or cause flakiness on the drier parts of my face, but it also controls oil really well on the shinier parts. I work full time and also attend evening classes, so I can personally testify that this lasts over 16 hours (!) on me without a primer or setting powder. I'm really particular about my base makeup looking good as I think it makes a huge difference, and this foundation even seemed to make my blusher last longer.I wore this foundation to my wedding about 18 months ago, and it lasted even in heat exceeding 40 degrees! It also photographed beautifully - even in the un-retouched photos from family and friends, my face looked airbrushed! My skin really isn't that great naturally, so this is a LIFESAVER. I'm a total foundation addict and have tried most of the high end brands, but this wins every time.Thanks Estee Lauder, this is absolutely my favourite product! Please bring out more shades though, like you have done for Double Wear - as a pale warm-toned girl, shade 1.0 is a little too dark and pinky for me in the winter.

I ran out of my old faithful foundation, which I'd used for 20+ years and found a sachet sample of this EL product in my drawer which I managed to eek out over the next 3 days and fell completely head over heels in love! I have very open pores so have to be careful when choosing a foundation that it's not so thick that it sinks into my pores so when I applied this with my fingertips and discovered it "glided" on effortlessly and remained on for the entire day, didn't feel greasy and looked so natural, I rushed out to buy it! I swear I will never use anything else .... so EL, don't you dare discontinue this!

I have been wearing double wear light for the past 2 and a half years and would highly recommend it to anyone. I have an oily t-zone and I have always struggled to get all day coverage but this lasts all day without clogging up my pores and I also used to have spotty skin but this has also cleared up. I also think that it is value for money as every bottle lasts 3-4 months and I use it every day compared to my old foundations which would last about a month and cost half the price of this one.

This is a truly great foundation- it has excellent, flawless coverage and will last for hours and hours- all day (I use it together with translucent powder and it lasts all day). I'm really happy with this foundation- the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the lightest shade is still a little too orange for my skin- it doesn't come in really light shades. However I find that together with the powder the colour is OK.I don't think you'll find a foundation with longer lasting coverage out there!!

I think it's well worth the cost considering a lot of the 'high street' brands cost at least ��15 and don't last like this. I am hooked!

I tend to only wear make-up for special occassions and obviously my wedding day was one of them!The lady at the Estee Lauder stand was so helpful; I normally struggle to find foundations which work with my pale and sensitive skin but this was perfect so light to wear, easy to put on and looked amazing especially in the photos! Highly recommended!!

I wear this foundation to work. It is so light and is not overbearing. sometimes I forget I have foundation on. The colours are appealing. You can apply with a sponge or fingertips.

Its an amazing foundation! it makes my skin look so smooth and fresh. The best part is it is very light unlike other foundations that give caky and blotchy look. The shade is very natural looking ( I use intensity 1) and it stays almost whole day.I got it online and receive free sample of advance night repair and wow.. what a miracle it did with my skin overnights.. yes I am gonna buy that too !!!

Easy to Wear Makeup

I enjoy wearing Double Wear Makeup. It lasts all day with little "touching up". It's so easy to remove with the Verite Cleansing Milk which I always buy at the same time. My only grumble is that I have to buy shade 3 & 4 in order to blend them together to match my skin colour.
